Must See!
Anyone who cares about kids should watch this-it's easy to overlook these children and just be concerned about our daily lives!
Great examination of the world of international adoption
After recently returning from Africa to bring our daughter home, we could resonate with a lot of what was examined in this documentary. The film does a great job of highlighting the barriers to international adoption and the need for a reworking of the Hague standards. However, I do wish they would have explained more about the need for some kind of standards that ensure (as much as possible) ethical international adoptions.
Extraordinary documentary
I saw this film in the theater and was excited to see it due to my own personal interest in the subject. As an adoptive parent of internationally adopted children I was so glad that a movie was finally made about this process, the good, the bad and the ugly.
Well, the film more than met my expectations! It was honest, accurate, moving, funny, sad and beautifully done with a lively soundtrack cutting edge cinematography.
I bought 2 copies of the film and recommend it to any parents or anyone who cares about children.
